This site keeps to itself

01What this notice covers

This notice covers the website veltrail.com in English and Russian. The VELTRAIL app, its online game server and the support site veltrail-legal.pages.dev are covered by the app privacy policy.

02Who is responsible

Vasile Piciriga (individual developer). Contact: picirigavasile@icloud.com.

03Hosting and request data

The website is a set of static files hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). When you open a page, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data, such as the time, the address you requested and your browser’s user agent, to deliver the page and to protect the site against attacks. Cloudflare does this on our behalf, as a processor.

We keep no logs of our own and use this data for nothing else. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in delivering a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). How long Cloudflare keeps request data is set out in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA; transfers are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

04No cookies

This website sets no cookies. There is nothing to accept, which is why there is no cookie banner. The language is part of the address (/ru/ for Russian), so nothing is stored for it either.

05What stays on your device

If you choose a courier on the Couriers pages, your browser remembers that choice in its local storage, so other pages of the site can show your courier. It is the only thing the website stores, it never leaves your device, and nobody but you can read it.

The choice is a website preference. It is not a purchase and unlocks nothing in the game.

06The courier card

The courier card is drawn by your browser, on your device, from the courier and the call sign you choose. It is never uploaded: the website has no server that could receive it. If you save the card, it goes to your device; if you share it, your device’s share menu hands it to the app you pick, under that app’s rules.

07No analytics, no forms, no third parties

There is no analytics, no tracking and no advertising on this website, and no forms or comment fields. Every file — pages, images, videos, scripts and fonts — is served from veltrail.com itself; the fonts (Oswald and Onest) are hosted here, not loaded from a font service. The site embeds no third-party videos, maps or social media widgets.

This website does not track you, so there is nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal to switch off. If this ever changes, for example if analytics are added, this notice will be updated first.

08Links to other sites

Links to the App Store, Google Play or the app’s legal pages lead to sites with their own privacy policies. Store links appear here only once the game is available there.

09E-mails to us

If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address and your message and use them only to answer you. Our e-mail is hosted by Apple (iCloud Mail). How long we keep e-mails is explained in the app privacy policy.

10Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular where you live or work.

The website keeps nothing about you on our side, so apart from e-mails you have sent us we usually hold no data we could link to you. To exercise a right, write to picirigavasile@icloud.com.

11Changes to this notice

Before the website changes how it handles data, this notice, its version and its date are updated.
