Short description

49 words

VELTRAIL is a team action game for iPhone and iPad. Two teams of three couriers lay energy rails just by moving, send pulses from their generator to the active receiver, cut the rival network and intercept dropped sparks. Matches last about two and a half minutes. Free, with ads.

Long description

166 words

VELTRAIL is a fast team game about energy routes, made for touch screens. Two teams of three couriers, Amber ▲ and Azure ●, race across arenas above a sea of clouds. You lay a rail simply by moving. Once your team’s rails link your generator to the active receiver, a pulse rides in every three seconds and scores a point. Rivals cut your rails with a short-range pulse tool. A pulse on a cut rail drops as a spark that anyone can carry into the receiver by hand: deliver a rival’s spark and the point is yours. Powered bridges open for everyone, rivals included. Three rounds of 45 seconds decide the match. Before the match, you pick one of three modules (Pulse Step, Insulator or Jumper); none gives a permanent advantage. Play online 3 vs 3, with empty slots filled by labelled bots, or practise offline with five bots — two on your team, three against you. VELTRAIL is free to download, shows ads and has no in-app purchases.

In-game tagline

Lay the path. Intercept the pulse. Light up the arena.
